The STIHL® KMA 80 R is a battery-powered Combi engine in the AK System, designed for use in home gardens. It’s powered by a 36-volt lithium-ion battery and is quiet, efficient, and powerful to tackle a variety of garden tasks—whether it’s pruning, trimming, mowing, clearing, or cutting. Compatible with all STIHL® Combi attachments (except FSB-KM), attaching and changing tools is easy – all you need to do is insert the STIHL® Combi attachment into the shaft and tighten to secure it in place.
The loop handle with rubberized grip provides exceptional flexibility in confined spaces and has a quick-mounting system, meaning you can adjust the handle to your height for an ergonomic working position. The KMA 80 R has a powerful brushless EC motor and speed adjustment on the control handle, which can be set at two-speed settings. ECO mode (level 1), for STIHL® Combi attachments suited to tasks that need lower power such as trimming lawn edges, and full-speed mode (level 2), for STIHL® Combi attachments suited for tasks that need more power, such as clearing leaves, which requires extra battery energy.
